To become a sponsor for this event,
Touchstone's annual fund raising event helps to provide for studio and campus operations and maintenance. Our experiential learning environment is unique from any other in craft education. Working together, urban and rural artists from diverse age groups and varied demographics bring their distinct experiences, and share them in a setting where they live and work together under the tutelage of an expert in their craft. It is this type of inclusive, immersive experience that brings about truly transformative artistic growth. A workshop at Touchstone is an engaging experience where students are removed from the daily interferences of life. This rural location and campus environment provides students with the ultimate setting to focus solely on creating excellence in their art. Help support Pennsylvania's only craft education center by attending the 45th Anniversary Celebration.
2017 Artist of the Year:
Adrienne is an artist and educator, who believes that art stimulates creativity, which is an essential element of the human spirit. As a long-time supporter, Adrienne has promoted Touchstone as an educational institution that offers opportunities to exercise and polish artistic creativity. As Touchstone celebrates its forty-fifth anniversary, we honor Adrienne’s contribution to Touchstone’s reputation as an organization that serves the local as well as the national contemporary crafts culture.
2017 Volunteer of the Year:
Mary Anne’s nature is to lend a helping hand. As a “Jane of all trades,” she has many skills to draw on when called upon for assistance. Fortunately for Touchstone, she never says no. She has an enthusiasm and appreciation for Touchstone and its mission and believes we all share the responsibility of supporting the arts and arts education. We thank Mary Anne for her efforts and all that she has given to Touchstone.
