Learn to play the Hammered Dulcimer or learn to play better! In this fun three day workshop, we will start at the beginning. Syncopation - nifty "licks" that will open new doors of playing! Playing chords and back-up, left hand/right hand lead, dynamics including exercises and techniques to strengthen the less-dominant hand, using rolls, grace notes, and flams in embellishment, proper care for your instrument, and much more!!!

We will learn several tunes using a few of those tunes over and over to apply the skills we will be learning. We also strive to make our workshops as fun and stress-free as possible. Again, it will be very thorough, and will definitely boost your playing skills. You will be playing tunes within the first five minutes of the workshop and will gain the tools and understanding necessary to play proficiently by the end of it!
