That’s why we offer four easy ways to register for a workshop: Online: Definitely the most convenient and streamlined of the registration options, online enrollment for a workshop is a click away at Just select your workshop(s) and room and board preferences and the understandable and secure user interface will walk you through the registration process. REGISTRATION GUIDELINES AND TIPS > Class registrations are taken on a first-come/first-served basis. > A 50 percent deposit and applicable registration fees are required at the time of registration for any workshop. > The balance of registration fees is due 30 days prior to the start of the workshop. > Materials fees are in addition to tuition fees and are due in full on the last day of your workshop. > Registrants with unpaid balances cannot be guaranteed a space in a workshop. > Classes fill quickly, so register for your favorite workshop(s) as early as possible. > Waiting lists are created for all filled classes based on the receipt of registration forms. REGISTRATION FEES Processing Fee is $50.00: This non-refundable fee helps cover the operational costs associated with processing registration materials. This fee is payable only once per student each season, regardless of the number of workshops taken. Returned Check Fee is $25.00. Workshop Transfer Fee is $20.00. Materials Fees: Materials fees will be charged to all students based on materials used in each class, and are in addition to tuition. In some cases, instructors might also require that you bring certain materials and tools with you. Materials fees are to be paid in full upon the last day of your workshop. Materials fees typically range from $15.00 to $115.00. It is possible for fees to be less or more than the range indicated depending on the workshop. Note: Materials fees for all Youth Workshops are included in the cost of tuition. REFUNDS AND CANCELATIONS While Touchstone schedules every workshop with the best intentions, the organization reserves the right to cancel a workshop for any reason. If a workshop cancelation occurs, students will be able to (1) transfer to another class or (2) receive a full refund. Students who cancel a registration 30 or more days prior to the start of the workshop date will receive a refund of their paid deposits minus the $50.00 non-refundable processing fee and a $75.00 cancelation fee. Students who cancel within the 30 days prior to the start of the workshop date will not be entitled to any refund. In addition, no refunds will be given after the workshop begins. Touchstone is not responsible for non-refundable or prepaid travel arrangements. VOLUNTEERING With over 100 workshops, symposiums, and special events per season delivered on over 150 woodland acres, Touchstone is always looking for an extra hand (or ten) to help out. Volunteer activities usually revolve around cleaning, landscaping, and construction, but we are always willing to learn what your volunteering interests are and try and match them with substantive organizational priorities.
