JUNE 2–4 > Ninth Annual Jim Campbell Hammer-In > Alchemist Picnic IV: A Mid-Atlantic Metals Retreat A yearly celebration of all things blacksmithing and metalsmithing, complete with demonstrations, lectures, and a bonfire. SEPTEMBER 29–OCTOBER 1 > Keystone Metals Forum IV An opportunity for dialogue and collaboration between established and emerging metalsmiths from across the Commonwealth and beyond. OCTOBER 13–15 > Independence 2017: A Mosaic Symposium This weekend gathering will celebrate independence of thought and action in the ancient medium of mosaic. Summer Evening Arts II will feature the following visual arts exhibition: Reception for Touchstone’s 2017 Studio Fellows, Technicians, and Assistants Touchstone is proud to showcase the work of our talented summer intern staff who are on campus to learn, network, and share their talent. These emerging artists come from across the country to learn studio management and operations while refining their artistic skills by working with some of the country’s best craft instructors. New items made by students, staff, and instructors are offered each week. Everyone has a chance to bid and all proceeds go to supporting Touchstone’s operations and programs.
