2020 Season Update,

In light of the uncertainty stemming from the novel Coronavirus pandemic, Touchstone Center for Crafts has made the difficult decision to cancel all scheduled programming for our 2020 season. We look forward to welcoming you back to campus again when it is safe to do so! The event is scheduled rain or shine, with many of the activities indoors.

Park & Shuttle:

Due to extremely limited parking on Touchstone’s campus, visitors should park at Christian W. Klay Winery (412 Fayette Springs Rd.) and take the free shuttle bus to campus. Shuttle will run every 30 minutes. Parking at Touchstone will be limited to handicapped parking only.

Touchstone’s community open house brings artists and organizations together for a fun, free, family-friendly event 

Touchstone invites the community to our campus in Fayette County, PA from 11am-4pm on Sunday, June 2nd for a free, family-friendly event! This is the perfect day to come out and visit our rural wooded campus in the beautiful mountains of the Laurel Highlands and learn about what Touchstone has to offer.

Visitors can:

Participate in a drum circle, kids craft activities, and nature walks with Powdermill Nature Reserve

View demonstrations by Rivers of Steel Arts, friends of Touchstone and our summer artist interns

Visit two brand new gallery exhibitions featuring members of Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and Touchstone’s 2019 workshop instructors

Shop our gallery store and artist pop-up shops featuring handmade items from local artisans

Speak to artists and members from Allegheny Metals Club, Contemporary Craft, Uniontown Art Club, and The Phoenix Arts Center

Meet representatives from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau, and more! 

Accessibility: Touchstone’s woodland campus is made up of gravel walkways, grassy areas, and uneven terrain. Please call 724-329-1370 if you have questions about accessibility.
