PLEASE NOTE: Registration for Touchstone’s Artist-in-Residence Program is open only to those who have 1) submitted a program application through SlideRoom by the posted deadline date, 2) completed an interview with a Touchstone representative, AND 3) received approval from Touchstone to participate.
This program offers a unique environment for artists and makers to live and work within a creative community. Residency fees cover studio access, kitchen access, Wi-Fi, and lodging. Linens can be provided at an additional cost of $50.
Each artist-in-residence is responsible for the cost and procurement of materials used throughout their residency. Artists-in-residence will be required to track and pay for the use of all consumables and kiln firings provided by Touchstone.
No meals will be provided to artists-in-residence throughout their stay on campus, unless they opt into a meal plan. Artists-in-residence will have access to a fully-equipped communal kitchen, grill, and dining area. Throughout the program, artists-in-residence often come together and periodically plan group meals during their stay. There are multiple grocery stores and restaurants within a 15- to 20-minute drive from Touchstone’s campus. Due to the rural location of Touchstone’s campus, it is strongly recommended that participants bring a vehicle to use during their stay.
