Traditional Yoruba Batik: Focus on Multiple Colors w/ Gasali Adeyemo

Join Gasali to learn the traditional Yoruba Batik technique as well as the meaning behind the design used. You will discover methods to achieve and experiment with a variety of beautiful colors, plus receive guidance on how best to use multiple colors within your batik.

*Materials and studio fees are charged to students based on studio usage and materials Touchstone is providing at the request of the instructor. Additionally, some instructors may also require that you bring certain materials and tools with you, in which case a list will be provided. Final cost of these fees will be posted at least two weeks ahead of the workshop to be paid in full prior to check-in.

  1. 5 YRDS 100% white cotton PFD fabric
  2. Rubber Gloves
  3. Scissors
  4. Apron, notebook and writing utensils
  5. Any of your own personal tool you wish to use (Optional)
  6. Reusable Water Bottle
