Arthur Gibson is a recent MFA graduate from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s recently established blacksmithing program as well as a BFA graduate from Southern Illinois University’s blacksmithing program. Additionally, they have previously been an intern at Touchstone working in the Hart Moore Blacksmith Studio. Their work focuses on functional items such as household hardware and tools. Within their work they try to use forge welding to remove tools from their process as much as possible.
