Glenn Horr has been creating hand-forged metalwork since high school. He took his first blacksmithing class through the Pioneer Crafts Council (now Touchstone Center for Crafts), formerly located in Mill Run, PA. Glenn has taught workshops at Touchstone for many years. He also shares his techniques at regional and national conferences. Glenn was Touchstone’s Artist of the Year in 2005. Using traditional techniques, Glenn creates functional and decorative work in steel as well as copper, brass, bronze and aluminum. Known for his attention to detail and fine craftsmanship, Glenn creates a wide range of hardware for homes and enjoys working with individuals, designers, and architects on special commissions.
