Joan Stolz is a recently retired professor from Parkland College in Illinois, where she taught painting, drawing, and two-dimensional design for 25 years. She has shown her work in galleries in Washington, DC, Baltimore, Paris, and New York. Her oil paintings, pastels, and silverpoint works are included in several public collections. She received her MFA from the Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
