Kimberlyn is a ceramic artist based in Pittsburgh, PA. She received her MFA from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and she currently teaches at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media. Kimberlyn is fascinated by the physics of sound and creates ceramic sound objects, exploring ideas around anxiety and communication, and challenging what is considered functional or practical by the standards of traditional ceramics.
