Laritza Garcia is an artist and educator from the South Texas/Mexico border. She integrates her vibrant cultural palate and metalsmithing techniques to create her jewelry designs. With artworks showcased nationally and internationally, her pieces reside in the permanent collections of institutions such as the Mint Museum and the Racine Art Museum. Laritza has been featured in prominent publications such as “500 Necklaces” and Metalsmith Magazine and currently spearheads the Metals department at Texas State University’s School of Art and Design
