Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Liana Agnew has found the means of making through clay to be an integral part of life. Currently, Liana works full time as the Director of Artistic Advancement at Sweetwater Center for the Arts in Sewickley, PA, helping to create opportunities for artists and broaden the artistic reach within the community. She received her Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Robert Morris University in 2021, and a BFA in ceramics from Edinboro University in 2015. Liana has taught at a variety of art organizations, non-profits, schools, and craft centers throughout the country, and has exhibited her artwork nationally. Outside of work, Liana can be found in a good book, spending time with her chihuahuas, thrifting, foraging for mushrooms, and enjoying the outdoors.
