Maggie Boyd is a Canadian artist living and working in NYC. Her work is an exploration of the place where drawing and ceramics meet. She has worked with ceramics for over twenty years and exhibited and taught internationally. Her work and writing about clay have been featured in Pottery Making Illustrated among other publications. Her book, HOW TO MAKE A POT– which is mostly about what the title suggests but also about other stuff like our place in the non-order of things and what it means when we make something, anything at all– will be released this year by Sacred Bones.
