Maya Kini

Metals/Jewelry Studio Instructor

Maya Kini is a goldsmith and poet living in San Francisco. She studied literature and sculpture at Reed College and received her MFA in metalsmithing from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2007. Maya has taught jewelry and metalsmithing at Sacramento City College, Sacramento State University and at Penland School of Crafts. She was a 2009 Searchlight Fellow with the American Craft Council and her jewelry and drawings have been exhibited nationally and internationally. Her poems have appeared in Metalsmith Magazine, Bellevue Literary Review, River Heron Review and elsewhere.
