Nathan Murray is a socially engaged artist and educator from Nebraska. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska and his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Florida. Murray has been widely published, including his work on the cover of Ceramics Monthly and his work in the 2023 book, Contemporary Black Ceramic Artists. He received a grant from the Mid America Arts Alliance in 2019 and in 2022 he received the Mayor Art Award for Artistic Achievement.
