James Mochnsky is a seasoned brand builder. Combining his creative skills along with a strong marketing acumen he has helped build brands in the U.S. (on a local, regional, and national scale) and around the world. He has been the creative director for brands like Fila and Samsung (global) during their transitions from either has-been or 2nd /3rd tier brands helping take them to 1st tier status. James has spent the last 11 years working and living in Shanghai, China, working for the international agency FCB, then as an independent executive creative director/consultant for numerous luxury and cultural brands. Having studied both painting and graphic design, he was able to put his deep love and knowledge of the arts to work. While in Shanghai, James became very involved with both the contemporary Chinese art scene as well as working as consulting creative director for the highly regarded Chinese Cultural brand Nan Shufang and newly opened Aman Hotel in Shnaghai, Amanyangyun. Through the years, he has overseen the creation of a wide range of brand communications as well as brand strategy development while receiving numerous awards for his work.
