Michael Frank

Michael Robert Frank is a Blues musician, award-winning record producer, artist manager, biographer, and owner of Earwig Music Company, a record label and music business consulting firm he founded in 1978. Michael managed, produced, and toured on harmonica with double Grammy Award Honoree Bluesman David “Honeyboy” Edwards for thirty-six years.

In addition to his music career, Michael worked for twenty-five years as a case manager and supervisor in child welfare agencies in Chicago. His community activism has included service on the Family Focus board, the Chicago Blues Festival Advisory Committee, service as a union steward, leader of anti-redlining groups and as a facilitator of Parental Stress groups. He has expertise in program development, resource engagement, and advocacy for diverse artists. As the son of Touchstone co-founder Agnes Dodds Kinard, Michael and his siblings have continued her legacy of service and financial support of Touchstone.

He has a Masters Degree in Social Work and Certification from The Brave Thinking Institute as a Life Mastery Consultant.
