Gallery Hours:
Open Tuesday–Saturday, 11 AM–4 PM.
The galleries will be closed on the following dates for special events:
- Saturday, September 27
- Saturday, October 11
On these dates, staff will be at our Ohiopyle location: 1 Sherman Street (former Falls City Church) for free pop-up events. Visit our Events page to learn more.
Holiday Office Closures:
- Monday, October 13 – Indigenous Peoples Day / Columbus Day
- Tuesday, November 11 – Veterans Day
- Thursday, November 27 – Thanksgiving Day
- Thursday, December 25 – Christmas Day

Road Closure: Wharton Furnace Road is closed for bridge repairs between Touchstone and Rt. 40 near the summit. Please do not attempt to reach Touchstone via Wharton Furnace or Fayette Springs.
GPS may not reflect the closure, and there is limited cell service in the area—please plan ahead and check directions before your trip.

STEP-BY STEP DIRECTIONS
- If you’re traveling US Route 40 East, please do not attempt to reach Touchstone via Wharton Furnace Road or Fayette Springs Road. Wharton Furnace Road is closed between Rt. 40 near the summit and Touchstone Center for Crafts.
- Stay on US-40 East past the usual turnoff for Wharton Furnace Road. (Do not turn onto Wharton Furnace Road – it is closed for bridge repair.)
- Continue following US-40 until you reach Farmington (You will see Fuel Coffee Works on your left and Laurel Highlands Visitors Center on your right).
- At the traffic light in Farmington, turn right onto Elliotsville Road.
- Follow Elliotsville Road for several miles until you reach Workman Road.
- Turn right onto Workman Road.
- Continue on Workman Road until you reach Wharton Furnace Road.
- Turn right onto Wharton Furnace Road, then make an immediate left into the Touchstone Center for Crafts entrance.
