Beginner/No Experience
In this 4-session class, we will explore the fundamentals of blacksmithing. Students will forge hooks and a coat rack during class, and can explore more projects during the included free open studio hours. Through creating these projects, students will learn many different processes such as tapering, twisting, punching holes, and bending steel to create shapes and forms. Each participant will get to explore their own unique creativity and walk away with at least one finished piece.

Class meets every Tuesday evening from 6:00pm-8:30pm throughout May (9/2, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23) Open Studio: Monday & Wednesday 6:00pm-9:00pm.
