Intermediate $80-$130 Materials and Studio Fees*
In this workshop, we will learn to flamework borosilicate glass to create unique wearable sculptures in the form of pendants. The focus will be on sculpting small glass components that are delicate but also structurally well-crafted for wearability. We will go over ways to create a “framework” to build upon as well as making basic bails. Important techniques that will be emphasized are bridging and assembly. Participants will have time to complete at least one pendant.
*Materials and studio fees are charged to students based on studio usage and materials Touchstone is providing at the request of the instructor. Additionally, some instructors may also require that you bring certain materials and tools with you, in which case a list will be provided. Final cost of these fees will be posted at least two weeks ahead of the workshop to be paid in full prior to check-in.
WORKSHOP STUDENTS should bring the following materials for the workshop
